PDF is nice, but is there a way to default the invoice view for clients to basic HTML, then have downloading a PDF as an option, not THE way to view the invoice?

Sorry, this isn’t currently supported. In the admin portal invoice designer there is an option to view the PDF as HTML to make it quicker to edit however you’ll notice the layout isn’t as accurate.

Whats the status of this? When I view a quote on a medium width browser window and it displays as pdf instead of html part of the quote gets cut off (and looks especially ugly and cluttered on chromium browsers where all this google pdf UI gunk is shown).
It seems like allowing us to just display html with a download link for pdf would be a perfect option. Viewing as the PDF generally just looks bad.
Everything about invoice ninja seems great for me but one of my main criteria was clean and easy viewing for clients
Since the last post we’ve added a ‘Mobile Version’ option on Settings > Client Portal which may help.
Is this what you’re referring to? Does not address the issue for desktop web browsers like I was referring to in my original comment
