Client portal settings AND how long are deleted files retained?

We discovered that, in the client portal, clients can see draft and archived quotes, which means that they can see quotes that are under internal review, as well as quotes that have expired with old rates on them, for example.

I don’t see any way to modify settings for the client portal so that draft and archived quotes are not shown. Is there a way to do that?

If not, we are considering deleting all non-active quotes. Do deleted quotes, invoices, etc. remain in the database indefinitely, or are they permanently deleted after some period of time? I can’t find any reference to this in the documentation. Please advise.

Draft records are visible if you have the direct link but shouldn’t be shown in the quote list.

Archived records are always shown, if the record is deleted it will be hidden in the client portal.
