$client.credit_balance did not result in a number shown in email

I am trying to use the string $client.credit_balance in this simple message in the email body but it produced (as BCC’d to myself) this in the actual email:

I don’t see that variable in the docs, you may want to create an issue on GitHub to request it.

Invoice Ninja version is: v11.12.2023.1 (installed in my server). I have made… a new custom invoice and i found a little issue. I want to show in invoice a clients credit balance. I use this variable: $client.credit_balance. I have the same issue running in the email template where instead of displaying a value, its displaying the name of the client followed by .credit_balance as reported here.

Any updates about this? @TekWarren

This was corrected after I entered an issue on github. Although, I stopped putting such values directly in emails to encourage clients to actually view the attached PDF so maybe it has resurfaced?
