Automatically send invoice after customer accepts quote

It seems that after a customer has accepted a quote, it is automatically converted into an invoice (as selected in the settings), however it is not automatically sent as an invoice to the customer. Can this be defined somehow?

Invoiceninja has the option to automatically convert a quote to an invoice when …approved by a client (Quote Workflow settings). This works fine. The customer accepts a quote and the quote is converted into an invoice. However this invoice is not sent automatically to the client.
