Auto-Bill option on invoice?

If I click the “Auto Bill” option on a regular (non recurring) invoice, it seems to charge the default credit card on file.

Is that all it does or does it also set them to be auto-billed the next time I create an invoice for them? This is the first time I have seen this option so I’m a little confused.



It only affects that specific invoice.

There’s an option to enable auto-billing for all standard invoices on Settings > Payment Settings.
