Accessing specific file by URL

Hi,
how could I access specific file inside the main directory?

Let’s say I want to display the VERSION.txt file?
invoiceninja.mywebsite/VERSION.txt

This results in a 404 error.

Hi,

The files in the main directory aren’t web accessible, only the files in the /public directory.
