"You have reached your client limit" with only 4 clients

I am trying to add a new Client.
I previously had 5 active clients and more archived ones.
I have deleted a number of clients and purged some of the archived ones.
I now only have 4 active clients, but when I try to add a new client, I still see the following error:
“You have reached your client limit. Please upgrade your plan.!”

Hi,

If you delete a client it’s still included in the client count, you can purge the client to add another one.
