I would suggest running the app as a subdomain rather than in a folder. ie

yeah that was my first guess but I wanted to put that aside and try another way. Am going to tempt with it and report my findings later. will test v5 under apache2 too. I saw someone on here put up an nginx server block for running ninja from a subdirectory but his post is not clear.
I can confirm that running from a sub-domain is the way to go!
I tried from a folder and ran into multiple problems each time (various versions of IN).
