What steps to change the root directory?

I presently have v5 installed in https://domain.com/clientsnew/
(I created that subdirectory for purposes of migration from v.4)
I would like to move v5 to https://domain.com/clients/

I have tried changing the foldername, then editing the APP_URL in .env, then running artisan optimize

But when I navigate to the directory, I am greeted by a 404 error.

Is there another parameter to change in order to change the root directory of invoice ninja?

I wasn’t even able to run it from a subfolder
you probably hardcoded the path somewhere…

not sure. i’d suggest installing as a subdomain so https://clients.domain.com
