What are the benefits of self hosting?

I signed up hosted and It’s alright. It is definitely a bit slow but overall I like the workflow. What have I to gain from self hosting this? I just happen to have a spare Raspberry Pi4 laying around.

The main benefit to selfhosting is that it’s less expensive.

Thanks! Cost isn’t a concern, I think you’re fairly priced. I don’t like the app. It doesn’t feel much faster than the web and it’s a little buggy. I’ll make sure I pay attention to what happens in it and come back to report.
