I have a self hosted (hosted using Softaculous on CPanel) Invoice Ninja that I have been trying to update to version 5 but not successful. I have created another version 5 installation and used the migration wizard in version 4 and was told I will receive an email when migration finishes. 24 hours later, nothing has happened.
WHat might be wrong and is there anything I can do to get a successful update?
Yes, I have seen the information but it didn’t help.
I will check the logs in another 24 hours and let you know.
I just deleted the new installation, installed it again, confirmed it was installed successfully by logging in and closing without filling any detail. I ran the migration, checked the laravel.log and I saw same log there with updated time that it is complete successfully.
Logged back in and still asking me for details… nothing done… worst thing is i just paid for whitelist last week and its a new application to me. I have data in old one as I was testing it with live data
So, I browsed into the public directory and I saw some files I had on the previous installation there meaning the migration was complete… so where is it? I then logged in and it was still asking me for a company name like a new installation so I created a fake name and I checked the list of companies and I saw the migrated one there.
Why didnt it load that at first instead of asking me company name?
