Unable to install

Here’s a thought…

I could use the app but on different devices or log out and back in so it’ll work I guess. Not ideal but until the issue with the web UI is fixed it’ll have to do.

That way we can focus on this issue and get my own site upgraded also which should make life easier for everyone…

v4.5.42 → v5 won’t work, only v4.5.50 → v5 is supported.

I suggest trying to setup v4 on a different server, you may want to try Homestead to set it up locally.

I already tried and setup v4.5.50 but how do I migrate the data from v4.5.42 → v4.5.50 ?

You can setup a clean install of v4.5.50 and then copy over the .env file and the database using mysqldump

I’m pretty sure I tried that and got errors but happy to do it again and see how it goes. Very odd behaviour though that one site updated with v4.5.50 without any issues and another didn’t.

Be nice to get them both onto version 5 I think.
