Square gateway / omnipay

I found an entry from September saying Square support had been completed, but it’s not clear to me how to get it going as it does not show up in the gateway drop down list for me in v5.3.34-C68. However, I found some info indicating it worked with Omnipay installed, but that seemed like it might be older documentation.

At any rate – Is the Square gateway integration still only possible with Omnipay, and is Omnipay still only possible using Composer? Or am I missing something?

Any comments from anyone successfully using Square, especially self-hosted v5?

It may help to load /update?secret= in the browser
