While working with the Tasks system in Invoice Ninja, I’ve realized a few things that are missing that I think would vastly improve the tool.
Most important to improve the user experience:
- keyboard shortcuts for play/stop time tracking of tasks
- Ability to set Due Dates for tasks (also sorting by due dates)
- Auto-Complete for projects and clients in "Filter" box on tasks index/list.
- Ability to Prioritize tasks. Example: low, medium, high or number values of 1 - 10
Potential future features that would be great:
- Able to assign users to individual tasks.
- Sort and Reports via Assignees.
