Public folder keeps growing & backups

Hallo there,

We have a user that has Invoice Ninja v5.x on our VPS and he has noticed that his public folder keeps getting bigger.

Main culprit is the \react\ folder with multiple versions (eg. v5.8.15-v5.8-21).

They are also backing up this folder we noticed and the zip file is growing.

Is there a way we can delete the v5.x folders after a number of days or will they keep growing over time?

Also what is a good set of folders to backup for them? He also manually takes a backup from the admin area but creates a zip file of:

  • app/public
  • app/storage

Are these right? It feels like only the storage folder needs to be backed up with their assets (logos etc)

I am sorry I do not know web development, PHP or much about Invoice Ninja but I am trying to help him and learn about your excellent product.

Does the self-host have automatic backups like the ones in the admin section maybe via an API? I was thinking of using the API Secret (not set it seems like) and call an API to generate a backup.
