Password Not Being Sent To Users

Morning Hillel

When I preview a mail to be sent to a client it clearly shows that the password WILL be sent:

However, when the user receives the mail they DO NOT see the password:

The password is only included in the email if it’s being auto-generated when the email is sent.


How do I get the system to auto generate the password please…?

There’s a setting on Settings > Client Portal

I have this option and but if I leave the password blank it sends an auto generated password but if the password is set it does not send it. Clients forget their passwords and ask instead of using the password reset function.

Not sure I follow, that’s the correct behavior.
