I successfully set this up on my own server, and everything seems to work except the link in the email to view the quote gives a file not found error.
We have tried it with a subdomain and then just pasting the code on a page on our wordpress site. We still get 404 errors.
We really want to use this software to send quotes, but the documentation doesn’t help configuring this correctly.
What are we doing wrong?

Are invoices working but not quotes?

I have the same problem here. Dashboard / invoices / quotes etc all give a 404 error for the clients.

Can you check the APP_URL value is correct in the .env file.
