Migration V4 to V5

Hello!

I’m currently trying to transfer data from InvoiceNinja 4.5.19 to a newly installed version 5. For the new version, I used the CLI script as described at Free Source Available Invoicing, Expenses & Time-Tracking | Invoice Ninja . The new installation works perfectly. However, as soon as I complete the last step in the migration tool in the older version 4 by clicking “Next,” the following error appears.


I executed the failed request manually via Postman, which worked fine. So I suspect the problem lies with the older version 4. However, I have no idea what exactly is causing the failure. Does anyone have an idea?

Hi,

You’ll need to upgrade to v4.5.50 to use the migration.

If you don’t want to touch your v4 app you can setup a new v4 install with a copy of the database and .env file.
