Massive amount of javascript files in public folder

Hey guys,

Hope all is well. Trying to understand why the public folder has a MASSIVE amount of different .js files such as bundle.****.js amongst others file such as .json files. Is there a misconfiguration somewhere in the .env files or elsewhere? Ive never seen a laravel app do this. I installed it as a normal laravel php app and everything is working fine, I am just having this issue that seems abnormal.

5.11.26 and previous versions

Environment <Docker/Shared Hosting/Zip/Other>

I’m also experiencing the same issue, on both 5.11.27 and 5.11.28 (latest) both after fresh installs. They appear to be packaged in the pre-built tar file downloadable from github releases

Currently 555 total js and json files in /public (all resembling [name]-[hash].js/on)
