Invoice Reminders not Being Sent / Some InvoiceNinja emails Going to Spam

Hi there, I was having a great time using your service, until recently.
I’ve had several invoices go into clients’ spam folders (causing late payments). I’ve asked the clients to put into their whitelists but this doesn’t help me long-term.

I’ve also seen several reminders not being sent as per the set schedule. I’ve had to follow these up manually.
I really like your service but the reason I decided to use it was because I wanted to automate things. If I can’t rely on it, it’s not much use!
Can you let me know what the problem is?
Here are examples of invoices which should have had reminders sent by now, but AFAIK they have not gone:

Sorry to hear you’re having trouble.

We use to send our emails. We’ve found compared to past providers they do a pretty good job of getting emails delivered. If you can send us some email addresses you’ve had trouble with we can review our logs to check they were delivered.

Here are two other solutions to consider:

  • Click the ‘View as recipient’ link and copy/paste the link in an email to the client.
  • Use to setup your own instance of the app and use your own email account to send the invoices.

I’ve checked your settings, based on the due dates of the invoices it doesn’t look like it’s time yet for the reminders to be sent. If you need further help it may be easier to email us at, we don’t want to share any details on a public post.
