Why do I not receive an email when a reminder is sent?
Do you mean a notification email?

Perhaps a poorly worded question. I have emailed the original invoice. I received an email when the recipient opened the email. It is my understanding that a reminder email will be sent to the recipient periodically as I have defined in my settings, i.e.; 7 days, 14 days and 21 days. Will I receive an email when the reminders have been sent and/or when the recipient opens the reminder emails?
Yes, reminders should send the notification emails as defined on /settings/notifications
