Imported Data came in all mixed up.... need to edit...

I started with Invoice Ninja using the Test Drive… I have just setup a self-hosted site. I tried to export/import from the cloud version to my self-hosted site. My clients cam in fine, My products came in all mixed up as well as with some previously deleted products. My invoices came in with all the pricing and fees mixed up in the line items. …Had me making $715.00/hour, etc. etc. etc. which in turn had all my client balances all mixed up. I delete all the invoices that I had imported. But they didn’t actually go away. It’s not a whole lot of data at this point. But I need to figure out the best way to clear it up. Can I manually edit the database file? If so with what? Excel, or OpenOffice Calc, or is there a better way to clear it up?

You can purge the data on Settings > Account Management

Did you use the JSON file?

OK… No but it sounds like I should have…

Thanks DATA Purged. Can you point me in the right direction for how to use the JSON file to transfer DATA.

You can select JSON when exporting and then importing the data.

It’s strongly recommended over CSV.
