I installed invoiceninja on a ubuntu 20 server but cant update

when i do force update i get 500: Internal Server Error • Server Error

Are there any details about the 500 error in storage/logs?

It may help to manually copy over the latest release tar.

If you see a 500 error in the app there will be more details in either the web server error log or storage/logs. Without more details it’s hard to help.

I suggest copying over the latest tar. Note: you’re running a much older version, you may need to upgrade PHP.
