How to use variables in standard invoice terms

Hello,

I want ot use variables (Free Source Available Invoicing, Expenses & Time-Tracking | Invoice Ninja) in the standard invoice terms. It seems to be not possible because the output is only the name of the variable (eg. $due_date)

It may be possible using a custom design.

Hi,

unfortunatelly it is not possible or I don’t know how I should do this in a custom design. I can add text into a custom design with variables but I want to do it through the standard invoice terms.

This isn’t possible?

In my tests I’m able to use $invoice.custom1 in the terms field

I tried this on a few setups also with the standard templates. Unfortunately it is not working on my side. I also tried it with only the variable in the field.

I will now manage with specific template for each use case (invoice, offer, …)
