- Default Tax Rate by Client: In our state (New York, USA) we do business in several different counties all with different tax rates. When we create a new invoice we need to make note of the tax rate a particular client resides in manually. We have made a mistake where we did not catch it and had the improper tax rate for a client and had to eat the difference when paying the state. So having a default tax rate by client would be very helpful so the tax rate for that invoice is correct when it is created.
