Error processing payment 2004

I have a client who is unable to make payment. They have removed and tried to re-add their payment info. They are getting the below error:

How can I get this fixed?

It looks like the card is getting declined, you can check the reason in your payment processor dashboard.

It could be getting declined due to various reasons, ranging from wrong info to getting blocked by the bank for whatever reason. To requiring 3d authentication if it is a European card.

Could be that the API implementation is old in IN but then other cards would be failing as well.

What gateway are you using? What is the error in you payment processor dashboard?
