Is there a way to upload documents by client? All I can find is attaching documents to individual invoices, which is fine for some things, but I really need to be able to upload documents to clients.
Also, where are documents stored? Are they stored in the db or file system?

We don’t support uploading documents by client, however in our next version we’re adding support for account documents.
Assuming you’re self hosting by default the documents are stored in storage/documents/
Is there a setting (or future plan) to allow us to store documents in the db? I would much prefer storing in the db instead of the file system.
And, yes, I am self hosting.

Sorry, this isn’t supported or planned for the future.
You can use cloud storage (ie, Google Cloud Storage).
