I would like to see our accurate “total revenue” in the dashboard. However, since we have to charge VAT to some of our clients but not all of them, the number I see is never accurate or reliable because it includes the VAT.
I think the revenue numbers should never include VAT, because the VAT is not revenue - it is something that we have to pay to the government. At the very least it should be possible to decide whether to include tax into the revenue totals.
The same is true for “Average Invoice” and “Outstanding” values.
