Company Logo displayed as broken image in PDF files

Hi,
I successfully uploaded my company logo and it appears correctly everywhere except in PDF files.

My installation (5.5.24) is self-hosted on a shared server. It was installed using Softaculous. Tried a fresh installation but the problem is the same. Everything else seems to be working without problems except that the company logo link is broken in generated PDF files.

The logo is accessible via a direct URL at

There is no error log in storage/logs/.

I read almost all of the posts in this forum about this issue but was unable to resolve it. Any ideas on what the issue could be?

Hi,

It may help to set LOCAL_DOWNLOAD=true in the .env file.

I somehow thought that this solution was applicable to docker installations only. I now added that line to my .env file and the problem is resolved.
