Client Side Documents Pop Up

Is there a way to make the Client Portal documents Pop Up instead of opening a new tab?

I’m assuming there is a way to code it in the CSS section of the Client Portal settings, if someone could just point me in the right direction I can probably figure it out.

I’m on the hosted plan.

I don’t think this can be changed with CSS, we’re specifying target="_blank" in the document link to ensure it’s opened in a new tab.

By ‘pop up’ do you mean open in the current tab replacing the current page or a modal popup which displays the document over the current page.

Yes, I was thinking like a modal style pop up that would display over the current page.

It would also be nice if it then could toggle back and forth between the other documents.

I was just thinking about the client user experience and thought it would be nicer if everything stayed contained within that same page of the invoice, instead of changing to new tabs/pages.
Same idea for the payment screens.

I know that may be a lot of work, so maybe this could be a feature request for the future?
