Changing the database for softaculous

Hi all,

I am using invoice ninja on one server but would like to host the database on another.

I have changed the database information in the .env file, but the system is not updating.

The server with invoice ninja is very unreliable. If the database is elsewhere then it is easy for me to recover and continue where I left off.

Softaculous doesnt seem to accept the updated database details?

Hi,

It may help to run php artisan optimize to rebuild the cache.
