Can't send e-mail over SMTP (Exchange 2016)

When I hosted my server at home I tried using my Exchange 2013 server to send e-mail, but that didn’t work, so I used the mail relay of my internet provider, which worked fine…

But now I moved my server to a datacenter, so there is not relay server anymore, I need to relay on my own Exchange 2016 SMTP server… But I’m getting this error: “Connection could not be established with host mail.schattorie.nl [Connection timed out #110]”.

Any ideas?

You may want to use telnet on the server to see if you can reach the host.

I’m sorry I didn’t tell, the server is perfectly fine… Also telnetting and sending an e-mail that way works perfectly fine…

Not sure, you may want to test with a different email provider.
